Hands-On Science Centers in Orange County

There’s only one way to learn about science and that’s to get your hands dirty. The Discovery Science Center is a great interactive science museum that offers exhibits related to all kinds of science. There are also places like Starr Ranch and the Ocean Institute that specialize in biology, especially the study of local plant and animal life.

Kids Science Camps and Classes

If your child wants to dig in a little more, there are fun day camps and classes available. Many city recreation departments run programs, as do private companies. Often you can find something that speaks to your child’s specific scientific interests, like computers, robotics or chemistry.
