Laguna Beach Recreation Aquatics

The City of Laguna Beach offers a comprehensive Aquatics program for kids.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming classes for every age from infants to babies to toddlers to children. Classes are held at Laguna Beach High School year round.

Swim Team

The Swim Team practices at Laguna Beach High School and participates in local and regional swim meets.

Children must have sufficient swimming skills to participate. If they’re not ready for Swim Team, they can sign up for Swim Team Prep, which will teach them the swim strokes they’ll need on the swim team.

Water Polo

Age Group Water Polo is intended for kids up to age 14. Most kids who want to continue in Water Polo after age 14 join their high school team.

Participants practice on weekday evenings and participate in tournaments against other teams from around Southern California.

You can also purchase Pool Passes for lap and recreational swim hours.
