Junior Turkey Trotters
The Dana Point Turkey Trot is held every year on Thanksgiving Day. They offer a youth running program during the two months leading up to the Turkey Trot. Kids run 25.2 miles during this period, on their own, at school or through other organized programs. On Thanksgiving Day they run the one mile Gobble Wobble, bringing their total to 26.2 miles, which is the equivalent of a marathon.
