Irvine Park Railroad

This is a great place to come and have some outdoor fun! The whole family can enjoy train rides, pony rides, paddle boats, bikes, hiking, bounce houses and the Orange County Zoo. Horse rentals are available by reservation.

Special activities are offered for Easter, Christmas and Halloween. The last weekend in February is their Anniversary Celebration.

Birthday parties and school field trips are available by reservation. They offer a 4th grade California history program.

Easter Train

The Easter bunny is coming to Irvine Park Railroad! Children and adults can ride the train through beautiful Irvine Regional Park. And, children ages 2 through 12 can participate in an Easter egg hunt. Each egg will be filled with candy or a prize.

Easter egg hunts begin every morning and tickets may be purchased to participate in an egg hunt at a specific time.

There will be other activities to enjoy during the Easter Eggstravaganza including hay rides, a moon bounce, picture stands and a lot more. On weekends, additional activities include face painting and carnival games too.

Pumpkin Patch

This Pumpkin Patch has a haunted house, a giant hay maze, and a Halloween Bounce House. Hay rides and train rides are available as well as pony rides and John Deere Tractor racers for kids. You can even get a pumpkin!

Christmas Train

Irvine Park Railroad is holding its annual Christmas Train. Take a night-time train ride from the train station to Santa’s Village! Kids can enjoy Story Time with Mrs. Claus, Cookie Decorating and other fun activities at the Train Station while awaiting the train’s arrival. After visiting with Santa, ride the train back through the “Tunnel of Lights”.
