Fun With Horses

Fun With Horses offers a variety of programs for children. You can sign up with them directly, or go through your city’s recreation department.

Camp Buckaroo

Camp Buckaroo is a two day summer horse camp. Camp is 9:00 – 3:00 on Thursdays and Fridays during the summer.

Fun on the Farm

Kids get the chance to learn about chickens, llamas, goats and more.

A Day at the Farm

This 4-week class is offered on Fridays through the recreation departments of several cities. Preschoolers and their parents will have fun learning about different animals through crafts, pony rides and holding and feeding animals such as ducks, pigs, goats and bunnies.

You can enroll in these classes through the city recreation departments. Each recreation department offers the classes at different times, so if your city doesn’t offer it at a convenient time, see if you can enroll through a different city. The times are 9-10, 10-11, 11-2, and 12-1. The cities that offer this class may not offer it every season.

Parties

Parties are 3 hours long and include pony & horse rides, farm games & crafts and time to eat pizza & cake and open presents.

Scout Programs

They offer a 2 hour program for scouts to work on their badge or patch program.

They also offer an overnight experience including horseback riding and sleeping under the stars.

The instructor is a Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor.
