El Dorado Archers
Note: This archery range in not in Orange County. It’s listed here because there are very few outdoor archery ranges in Orange County.
El Dorado Archers offers classes for children ages 8 and up on Saturdays. They provide equipment. If you bring your own, the instructors will inspect it for suitability for the program. They encourage participation in JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) tournaments.
This is a great place to go to try out archery once or twice to see if you like it. Attendance at a safety class is mandatory, and reservations are required.
They also offer group programs and the Boy Scout Archery merit badge.
