Fishing Cruises
Fishing cruises are 1/2 day, 3/4 day, full day, or evening. You can rent fishing equipment and buy fishing license there. All of the prices are available on their website.
Each day they post the previous day's catch on their website, so it's very easy to see what's biting right now. Some fishers choose to catch and release, while others bring their prizes home. You can only keep your fish if it's of legal size, so prepare the kids for the possibility that they might have to throw their fish back.
There are free fishing clinics for children on Sundays at noon and children's fishing tournaments and a one week fishing camp during the summer. Birthday parties are also available.
Sea Life Cruises
They call them Whale Watching cruises, but they see dolphins, sea lions and other marine life too. Their crews seem to know where to go to find the cool stuff. Again, their website has regular updates so you can see what's out there right now.
Planning Ahead
Be sure to make reservations in advance because many cruises fill up. And check out the parking information on their website. You'll get a ticket if you park in the wrong place.
