Archery
It's pretty difficult to find a place to shoot bows and arrows in Orange County these days. Orange County Archery in Fountain Valley runs an indoor range. The other local clubs have lost their locations and no longer have a permanent place to shoot, but they can bring coaches and equipment to your location for a group.
Although we usually do not list activities outside of Orange County, we've included El Dorado Archers in Long Beach because they're the closest outdoor archery range to Orange County.
Boy Scouts runs archery programs locally too. There is an archery range at Oso Lake in Mission Viejo. If you are part of a Cub Scout Pack or Boy Scout Troop that plans a campout at Oso, you should be able to use the archery range. If it's a family campout, they usually let siblings and even parents shoot as well. Other organizations can make reservations to use the facilities there too.
Oso Lake also hosts events that scouts and their parents can attend without their pack. More information is available at Oso Lake's website.
Each Boy Scout district in Orange County holds a week-long Cub Scout Daycamp in the summer, and archery is included in their programs.
