Acting Academy for Kids
Acting classes for children who wish to act in television, film or theater. Classes are held on weekdays in the late afternoon and evening. Separate classes are offered for ages 6 – 12 and 13 – 17.
Summer camps and voice, acting and public speaking lessons are also available.
This academy is affiliated with the Camino Real Playhouse, which stages productions year-round. They are famous for their annual melodrama, where the audience cheers the hero and boos the villain. They even provide foam “rocks” for throwing at the villain when he is particularly evil!
